Real Ale Brewing Company out of Blanco Texas. Devils Backbone Ale. This Ale is named after the ridge that runs between Blanco and Wimberley. This Ale tasted great. It is made with Czech Saaz hops and Belgian yeast. This type of Ale is a Belgian-style tripel. It had a golden color to it and slight foamy head. It had a sweet aroma and taste. This is due to the Candy sugar made in-house at the brewery. It has an ABV: 8.10% which is a lot stronger than your average ales. This is a great pale ale. Give it a try. Rated 4.6 out of 5.-D
Devil’s Backbone from Real Ale Brewing Company. This golden pale ale had a nice, light fruity aroma. Alcohol is well hidden with all the different taste and slight spices. Also had a good bitterness throughout the beer. Like D stated above, it is a Belgian-style tripel which basically means its strong pale ale. Rated 4.5 out of 5. -A
