Triple XXX Root Beer. Dublin Bottling Works is alive and well in Dublin, Texas. Home of the Original Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant! They have been bottling sodas for more than 120 years at the oldest soda bottling facility in the State of Texas. They are a family-owned company. This root beer tasted good. It is made with pure cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. It has a nice crisp and clean taste to it that you don’t find with syrup sodas. It had a good carbonation to it and was one of the better root beer sodas I have had. Rated 4.79 out of 5-D

Tommy’s Fire Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salsa out of Austin, TX. Unfortunately, I thought this salsa lacked a lot in texture and flavor. It was such a shame because I really wanted to like this salsa. It was sweeter and watery than I had hoped and expected, and there was very little variety in ingredients that were mixed in the salsa. When I think of corn and black bean salsa, I want lots of corn and black beans in it. It was more tomato based/puree than anything. I was really hoping that it would have been more flavorful, but it is a newer flavor of theirs, so maybe they are still working out the kinks, or maybe it was a bad batch. I do, however, look forward to trying their other products since they are a Go Texan product! 2.7 outta 5.-A
Tommy’s Foods out of Austin Texas. Tommy’s Fire Roasted Black Bean and Corn Salsa. This company uses all natural ingredients and the freshest produce available in the Lone Star State. I personally think this salsa was too sweet, even with the roasted organic pasilla chiles in this salsa. The black beans were very small and very little pieces of corn. I think this salsa wasn’t thick enough. It did have an ok flavor. Kind of disappointed with this salsa. Hope some of the other products from Tommy’s Foods we review I will like better. Texas Chili Company out of Fort Worth Texas. Texas Chili Company began doing business in 1952, making "brick" chili from an old recipe. Chili was prepared and filled into a rectangular "brick shaped" pan and frozen, thus the name brick chili. This chili tasted good. It had a nice ground beef flavor and had a slight spice to it. Each piece of beef had a different size. It would be great on hot dogs and chili fries. I like the ease of just heating it up and serving. Rated 4.35 outta 5 –D and A

Cooper’s bbq beef ribs and brisket again were great (for more in depth review of the Beef Rib and Brisket see our prior review on August 4 2012) The stars of this visit were the Jalapeno Sausage and the Blackberry Cobbler. First up was the Jalapeno sausage. It had a great taste and lots of jalapeno flavor. Great quality meat and good smoky flavor. They had a good casing and it was very juicy. Id rate these sausages a 4.85 outta of 5.
Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ located in the Fort Worth Stockyards. We are definitely fans of Cooper’s! We of course had gotten the brisket and beef ribs like we did in our previous review of Cooper’s. And of course they taste delicious as usual! We had also gotten the jalapeno smoked sausage that was great tasting, super juicy and flavor packed! And of course there was a little kick from the chunks of jalapeno packed into each and every bite. Though we aren't a fan of their sauce, (mainly because they season their meat so well it doesn't need it) their sauce really complimented the jalapeno sausage perfectly. YUM! We also tried the macaroni and cheese for a side along with the beans that you help yourself to. The macaroni was basic, cafeteria style mac and cheese you would expect to find, the focus is definitely on the meat here! 4.95-5 -A

We had the blackberry cobbler for desert. Their cobbler was some of the best I have ever had. It tasted homemade; it was loaded with blackberries, just enough sweetness in the dough and blackberries that really bring everything out. I have a soft spot for blackberry cobbler, and can be a bit picky on its taste, so Cooper’s definitely has thumbs up from me for it! 4.95-5 -A
Blackberry cobbler. It had a great fresh blackberry taste. The crust of the cobbler was nice and doughy and had a great sweet taste to it. I highly recommend you try the blackberry cobbler if you go to Cooper’s. Blackberry Cobbler rated 5 outta 5. -D

Fuzzy’s taco shop in Arlington Texas. The original beef nachos consisted of Fresh tortilla chips topped with special shredded beef, shredded cheese, queso, pico de gallo, feta and garlic sauce. These nachos were great. It was a large potion and tasted great. I like the flavor of the shredded beef and the feta cheese (which at first I thought was odd but I liked) The pico de gallo was fresh and paired well with the garlic sauce. I would recommend these nachos to anyone. Rated 4 outta 5-D
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Arlington, Texas is one of my favorite places to go to eat. Delicious food at great prices! Their beef nachos are an awesome, flavor explosion to get things started. As D above stated all the ingredients, and the feta cheese on it was perfection. The meat had great flavor (as usual) and everything combined just seemed to melt in your mouth! Definitely a new favorite. 4.5 outta 5 -A
