Armadillo Ale Works Quakertown Stout out of Denton, Texas. First sip and I was an instant fan of this beautifully made stout. It had such a multitude of flavors that were simple and were pleasing to the taste buds. I had tried the Stout that was infused with banana, raisin, and almonds. The banana seemed to have gotten lost among the other flavors, but it was still delicious. Sweet and had a down home richness to it. The maple syrup added to the homey appeal. This stout is at 9.22% and was just recently released. I most definitely look forward to whatever this company comes out with and consider Quakertown Stout to be a go to, especially on a chilly day. Give it a try! Rated 4.75 out of 5. -A
Armadillo Ale Works out of Denton Texas. The Quakertown Stout. I recently tried this stout at the Untapped festival. This stout was great. It had a great oatmeal taste. This stout is made with two row, brown, roasted barley, Blackprinz, wheat malts, oats, Columbus hops, and maple syrup is added. It had a dark color to it and a good sized head. It had nice notes of coffee and chocolate. One of my favorite beers I tried at this festival. This Company has only been around for a few years and launched their first beer (Quakertown Stout) on March 1, 2013. Now it can be found all over the DFW, Houston, and Austin Areas. Want a good tasting Stout? Try Armadillo Ale Quakertown. Rated 4.75 out of 5-D
