Pecan Lodge out of Dallas, Texas. They were one of the caterers at the Untapped Beer Festival in Fort Worth. We were lucky enough to get our hands on their chopped beef brisket sandwich before they ran out. It was amazing! “The best brisket I have ever had” (Admin D). It had a great pepper taste to the rub and great smoke ring and flavor. The beef had an amazing flavor profile with an interesting Southwestern type rub. The rub did nothing but accentuate the delicious, moist brisket. No wonder this rather “new” BBQ joint had already won various awards. We can’t wait to head to their location at the Dallas Farmer’s Market and have more tastings! We have heard that there’s always a line of 100+, but we are ready to take that on to get our hands on some delicious grub! Let us know what you thought if you have tried it! We both gave it a 5 out of 5.
