Lone Star Amber Bock. This Texas based beer company is called the National Beer of Texas. The Bock was very smooth and refreshing. It had a nice medium amber color to it and it tasted good. It did taste lighter in flavor than many other bock style beers. It has sweet malt smell and it had a sweet taste, kind of like a slight sweet maple syrup and pecan taste. When poured it has a smaller head One good point is the price, It was a lot cheaper than other Texas bocks. Rated 4 out of 5.-D

Lone Star Bock Beer. This seasonal beer is only around for the short winter months. I really didn’t understand all the harsh reviews on it from others, the price was a bit high for Lone Star itself, a good deal compared to other Texas bocks, but I thought it had an interesting taste to it. It was light and smooth in taste and it also had a delightful sweet caramel/pecan type aftertaste. Sweet aroma. I may just be biased because I love Lone Star, but let us know what you think?! It seems to be about 50/50, either you love it or hate it. Rated 4.1 outta 5. -A

D.L. Jardines Mesquite BBQ Sauce. This sauce was delicious, especially with chicken! Had such a nice flavor profile with the pepper and the mesquite flavoring. This is the first of the Jardines BBQ sauce that I have tried; all of their other products such as, salsas, and Texas Champagne hot sauce and they are delicious! This sauce didn’t disappoint. Had a distinct smoke flavor that is sure to impress. Give it a try sometime if you haven’t and tell us what you think! Rated 4.7 outta 5. -A

The product from Buda Texas does not disappoint. The Mesquite special edition line of bbq sauces It has a great mesquite smoke flavor that doesn’t overwhelm. This barbecue sauce has a good consistency and is made with many quality spices and herbs. This Barbecue sauce would go well with any type of meat. It has a slight kick and a smooth mesquite smoke flavor. I’d recommend this sauce to anyone that wants a great tasting mesquite flavored sauce. In my top 5 favorite bbq sauces. Blue Bell Ice Cream Banana Pudding. I loved this ice cream. It tasted like the best banana pudding I have had; only it was ice cream. It had a great banana flavor. It was creamy and smooth. You can taste the whipped cream mixed in with the banana flavored ice cream and big chunks of vanilla wafers. It instantly became one of my favorite flavors from Blue Bell. I still have not found a flavor I didn’t like and Im sure I won’t. No wonder Blue Bell is Texas’ favorite ice cream. Rated 5 outta 5-D

HEB Classic Roast Coffee. This Texas based grocery stores name brand canned coffee was good. It was rich and had a bold flavor. It was far superior to other canned coffees. It had a good coffee tastes and didn’t have an acidy after taste. This coffee had a nice coffee smell. It was one of the best canned coffees I have had. It was also well priced. I would recommend this to all coffee fans on a budget. Rated 4.78 out of 5.-D&A
