Lone Star beer. The national beer of Texas. This is a Fort Worth brewed beer. It isn't like micro-beers. It is light and very refreshing. It has a crisp taste and is great cold. When i lived in Austin everyone drank this, yet up in Fort Worth it isnt as well received. I cant think of anything better than a cold lone star beer after a hard days work in the heat. This beer doesn't try to be flashy and may not be for the beer snobs. I liked it alot. Rated 4.25 outta 5-D

Lone Star beer is great, just like the state of Texas. It has a great crisp taste, not too malty or hoppy. Great on a hot day and cookouts. I'm disappointed about how no one drinks Lone Star in the DFW area.( or its very rare to see) It's not the best beer on the planet but it's a Texas thing and it does taste pretty damn good! Eddy Texas smoked beef sausage. This is a Yoakum Texas based product. It had a great smoke flavor. The casing was nice and had a slight garlic taste. Good quality meat. I really liked it. Rated 4 outta 5. If you see this product pick it up. You wont be disappointed.-D

Eddy Texas Smoked Beef Sausage. Great flavor. Strong smoke taste and aroma! Pairs great with the Salt lick original BBQ sauce and even better with D's homemade BBQ sauce!(YUMMM!) Casing had a great snap and oozing juice! Give it a try if you see it around! 4 out of 5 stars. -A

Seaport Dark Roast Coffee roasted and ground in Beaumont, TX. This coffee wasn't bad at all and was a great price! Not my favorite but I will be buying again. Did have a rich flavor, but not as strong as I'd like. At all the places we had seen it, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any whole beans. I did see that they sell the whole bean on their website. Check out your coffee isle in your local Texas grocery and give it a try! 3.5 out of 5. -A

I really liked this coffee. It has a good bold taste and full flavor. Great way to wake up in the morning. In my opinion It tasted better than some of the other coffees of higher prices. I give it a 4 outta 5.-D
Dublin Dr Pepper. This is my favorite soda. It is made with cane sugar.(The other is made with high fructose corn syrup.) Dublin Dr Pepper has a refreshing taste and doesnt have that prune like after taste that the other one has.I give the soda a 5 outta 5.-D. Id like you to join the Boycott of Dr Pepper/snapple corp. they shut down operations in Dublin Tx and arent letting them make the original recipe anymore. for more info on the boycott please click on this link.www.facebook.com/pages/Boycott-Dr-Pepper-for-Forcing-Dublin-Dr-Pepper-Out-of-Business/315043295206771

Dublin Dr Pepper is just great! The cane sugar really does make a difference, doesn't coat your throat like the sodas made with corn syrup. It's crisp and refreshing. Try one side by side with the corporate Dr Pepper and decide for yourself! 5 out of 5. -A

Salt Lick Original Recipe BBQ Sauce. I loved this sauce on sausage and brisket. I'm not a big fan of mustard and vinegar based sauces, but this was excellent. I like the strong hints of onion and garlic.I detected a relish taste as well. It was both sweet and had a little kick in the end. The sauce wasn't too thick or thin. I would recommend this to all bbq fans. Check out the restaurant in Driftwood TX. Rated 4.5 outta 5 stars. -D

The Salt Lick Original BBQ was great! Loved the overall mustard taste with a hint of sweet and spice! The BBQ sauce pairs well with the Texas Traditions Jalapeno & Cheddar sausages. But it was awesome with a homecooked brisket. I loved it with the brisket, it really changed the taste of the sauce itself with the rub that we had put on it! Just great I definitely recommend it to anyone! Rated 4.7-5 -A

Texas Redneck bbq sauce. This bbq sauce wasnt too thick or too thin. It had a good kick at the end. It has big chunks of peppercorns in the sauce. I think were too big.I also thought it was too sweet and had a strong maple syrup taste, which i didnt really care for. Rated 3 outta 5.-D
Thought this sauce was going to be good, looked thick and had a nice color. It was a little more expensive than Austin's Own, but wasn't worth the extra money. A little too sweet for my taste and I usually like sweeter sauces. Had a great texture though. But tried it with numerous types of meats and I just couldn't find a good pair with this sauce. 2.6-5 stars - A
D.L. Jardine's Texacante salsa. This salsa has a low medium heat. It has a great fresh vegetable taste. Fresh tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and jalapenos. The unexpected ingredient was carrots. The carrots were thinly sliced and not pureed into salsa. It also had a slight refried bean flavor to it. All in all a very refreshing salsa. Rated 3.75 outta 5.
